Scale Computing Awarded Best New Product from PC Mall
Scale’s Intelligent Clustered Storage™ (ICS) technology takes Best New Product in Infrastructure Category
(Indianapolis, Indiana – January 19, 2010) — Scale Computing, a developer and manufacturer of Intelligent Clustered Storage™ (ICS) technology, was awarded Best New Product Infrastructure Category by PC Mall. The Partnership Excellence Award was announced at PC Mall Vision 2010. The objective of the PC Mall Sales and Vendor Symposium is to bring key vendor partners together with local customers in an environment to foster relationship building and the exchange of information.
“Scale was awarded the Best New Product in our infrastructure category because we are confident that our SMB customers will find great value in the complete, end-to-end midmarket storage solution that Scale provides,” said Gertrud Pillay, Vice President Marketing of a PC Mall subsidiary. “Their Intelligent Clustered Storage solution aims to reduce costs while increasing control, as well as making storage management more convenient for IT administrators. These are key technology challenges our customers face and we, of course, want to offer them solutions that increase their productivity and performance as cost-effectively as possible.”
Scale recently announced the release of its ICS architecture version 2.0. The StarterSAN line of products with ICS provide enterprise-class, truly clustered storage features at a fraction of the price of comparable solutions. IT managers are able to build out storage clusters, starting with just 3 usable terabytes up to the multiple petabyte range on a single file system using commodity hardware.
