Network Diagram

Scale Computing’s HC3 is architected with no single point of failure. Each node includes quad 1GbE or 10GbE ports, 2 of which are intended for connecting into the cluster (LAN) and 2 of which are intended for internode communication (Backplane). These are configured in an active/passive bonding for both the LAN and the backplane NICs on each node in the HC3 cluster.

Scalability

Customer can add up to 8 nodes per cluster with no disruption to operations. Contact Scale for information on designing clusters larger than 8 nodes.
