Bill Morrow, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Scale Computing, focuses on growth through efficient allocation of resources, all targeted at exceeding client expectations. Bill founded and ran several companies in the data-security and telecommunications markets. His last company, CSIdentity, became the dominant provider of data analytics and security services for the identity theft space prior to being acquired by Experian, PLC. Bill also owns ranches, a small resort and a convenience store in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.

Bernard is an experienced executive in the field of telecommunication software, with international experience in marketing, sales, product management, research & development, business operations and mergers and acquisitions. Bernard has led start-ups and spin-offs, and held leadership positions in large international companies including Ericsson and InfoVista. Bernard is an Electrical Engineer by education and a customer focused business executive by inclination.
Richard Williams
Chief Financial Officer
Richard Williams leads Scale Computing’s global finance organization, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, capital strategy, and operational finance, supporting the company’s continued growth and strategic expansion. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Eagle Eye Networks, now Brivo, during dramatic growth and global market expansion.
Brett Stewart
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer at Scale Computing, Brett oversees the installation and operation of secure, PCI DSS-Compliant networks to thousands of retail locations of Scale Computing customers. He has been awarded more than 80 patents relating to communications semiconductors, WiFi, and network security. Before founding Acumera, Brett was Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Wayport (provider of WiFi to McDonald’s and Starbucks locations worldwide) and Director of Business Development for AMD.
Scott Loughmiller
Chief Product Officer
Scott is a founder and Chief Product Officer at Scale Computing, where he is responsible for technology and product strategy. Previously, Scott was co-founder and CTO of Corvigo where he was responsible for R&D, leading to the development of Intent-Based Filtering Technology. Prior to Corvigo, Scott served as VP of Engineering at Radiate.
Dan Pierce
Chief Revenue Officer
Dan Pierce serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Scale Computing, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Since joining Scale in 2018, Dan has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory, drawing from prior leadership roles at Clearwater Analytics, Microsoft, and PureWeb. In his current role, he leads Scale’s global go-to-market strategy and execution across sales, channel partnerships, and revenue operations, ensuring strong customer outcomes and scalable, predictable growth.
Roberto Chang
Executive Vice President, Operations
As EVP of Operations, Roberto oversees the constant optimization of processes and activities, supporting Scale Computing's fast-paced growth by developing and implementing efficient operations and cost-effective systems. Roberto has more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles in customer experience, marketing, pricing and product management fields in the telecommunications and financial industries. Roberto received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Cassie Gilford

Cassie Gilford has played a key role in Scale Computing’s evolution since joining the company in 2009. As Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, she leads strategy and execution across the customer lifecycle, driving customer success and operational excellence. Known for building scalable organizations and high-performing teams, Cassie brings an execution-focused leadership style centered on process optimization, cross-functional alignment, and exceptional customer outcomes. She is passionate about fostering cultures built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Cassie earned her degree in Economics from Purdue University Krannert School of Management.
DeWayne Mangan
Senior Vice President, Technology Operations
DeWayne helps Scale Computing deliver the Advocate Champion Defender support promise by leading the Infrastructure and Client Support teams. His decades of experience in customer support, telecommunications, and enterprise networking help these teams deliver reliable services and support experiences where the customer always comes first. Prior to joining Scale Computing, DeWayne held or created practically every role within the Information Technology department during a lengthy career at Concordia University Texas.
Zach Miller
Vice President, Finance
Zach drives financial planning and analysis, operational finance, capital strategy, and corporate development efforts at Scale Computing. He brings extensive experience across investment banking, private credit, and corporate finance, having begun his career at Moelis & Company advising on mergers and acquisitions before moving into private credit at THL Credit, acquired by First Eagle. Most recently, Zach served as VP of Finance at Atmosphere and Eagle Eye Networks, now Brivo, during periods of significant growth and strategic expansion.
Marlena Fernandez
Vice President, Marketing
Marlena oversees the Company’s global marketing strategy to accelerate customer adoption of edge computing, managed network services, virtualization, and SD-WAN solutions. She is an accomplished and results oriented leader with over 20 years of global marketing experience helping organizations reach their business, branding, and sales goals. As the first Scale Computing executive to be named to the CRN Women of the Channel list and the Power 100 list, Marlena has worked at channel leading companies Oracle, Veritas, Symantec, and Seagate. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University.
Demarkus Pruitt
Vice President, Network Operations
As VP of Network Operations Center and Technical Support, Demarkus oversees the management and strategic vision of Scale Computing’s Network Operations Center and Technical Support to enable an exceptional customer experience. Demarkus has over 20 years of experience, with a deep focus on network operations, engineering, and infrastructure management. His experience includes serving in the US military deploying and supporting networks, to building and managing NOCs for various large scale ISPs, and most recently working for Google’s Global Network Operations managing their Global NOC. Demarkus has a bachelors in Telecommunication Systems Management, Masters of Business Administration, and a Ph.D. in IT Management.
Sawyer Bilton
Vice President, Corporate Development
Sawyer leads corporate development at Scale Computing, overseeing M&A, strategic partnerships, and financings. Since joining Scale Computing, he has led the acquisitions of Adaptiv Networks and Acumera's acquisition of Scale Computing. Prior to joining Scale Computing, Sawyer was at TD Cowen, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, and capital raises, including advising Acumera on several transactions before joining the company full-time.
Leah Schneider
VP of Financial Operations
Leah Schneider leads Scale Computing's financial operations, overseeing the company's accounting function and driving financial strategy in support of the company's continued growth. A licensed CPA, she brings more than 15 years of experience across public accounting and corporate finance, including over a decade at KPMG leading audit engagements domestically and internationally. She most recently served as Controller at Eagle Eye Networks, now Brivo. Leah is known for her technical depth in financial reporting standards, her track record of building high-performing teams, and her drive to identify process improvements in fast-moving environments.
