During this webinar, Jeff Ready from Scale Computing joins Shane Rogers from Harrison Steel Castings and Philippe Cases from Topio Networks to showcase one of the early rollouts of IoT for predictive/augmented maintenance in a traditional manufacturing environment. We discuss the main challenges of implementing edge computing, with a focus on deployment and maintenance. We also review how Harrison Steel achieved a reasonable total cost of ownership leveraging Scale Computing’s HC3 Edge self-healing platform running on the smallest and most potent edge computing appliances.
