Users remotely stage their clusters any time between node purchase and site install, so that when nodes are powered on they provision themselves, initialize, and register with Scale Computing Fleet Manager™ edge orchestration software. This is an important benefit both to those installing Scale Computing HyperCore™ virtualization suite clusters with limited to no IT expertise or tools, and/or limited time, as well as to those who have a large number of clusters and need a fast and automated solution for implementation. This is the first zero-touch provisioning solution that has the cloud-like simplicity and speed needed for edge computing projects, providing the shortest time from pilot to production. ZTP will prove indispensable for edge computing deployments with a large number of sites that need to deploy at scale.
