Scale Computing for Edge Computing at Lenovo Accelerate 2019
May 12, 2019
This year, Lenovo is combining their largest America’s partner event, Accelerate, with their flagship global customer event, Transform, to bring together industry experts and business leaders for a can’t miss collaborative experience. Scale Computing will be part of that experience as we showcase our partnership with Lenovo and demonstrate how our combined technologies are bringing edge computing to organizations around the world.
As technologies like AI and IoT grow and spread computing farther and farther out from the data center, organizations are challenged to provide the edge infrastructure needed to support these technologies. Retailers, for example are especially challenged with 10’s to 1000’s of retail locations that require digital technologies like inventory management, point of sales systems, personalized shopping apps, and more that require big data for both an online and in-store digital experience.
Lenovo and Scale Computing have partnered to create affordable, right-sized, self-healing, easy-to-use edge computing appliances so organizations can accelerate their adoption of modern technologies to their advantage. HC3 Edge appliances can be clustered for high availability, managed remotely with ease, and have the computing power needed onsite at the right price.
If you are fortunate enough to be attending Accelerate, join Phil White, CTO of Scale Computing, along with Todd Desaix, IoT and Edge Computing Leader, Lenovo Data Center Group, and Jeff Miller, Director of IT at Jerry’s Foods, for a special break-out presentation on Monday at 1:50PM in Showcase 3. Learn how edge sites from retail stores to entire cities are leveraging next-generation edge infrastructure solutions to speed deployment, lower operating costs, centralize management, increase reliability, and enable IoT and legacy workloads across common infrastructure.
Also, be sure to stop by and meet up with our technical experts and executives who will be in both the Scale Computing and Lenovo Data Center Group booths. You will want a chance to see our edge computing solutions in action in live demos on Lenovo hardware. Additionally, we will be demoing how integration allows easy point-and-click connections to cloud providers, where business intelligence dashboards can be set up in seconds to analyze data collected at the edge.
